Beginner's Sewing Class (September session)

Beginner's 101 One hour beginner class. Students will meet once per week after school on Fridays. Class dates September 12, 19, 26. Learners will learn how to use a sewing machine and sew a variety of items such as a pillow,  a skirt or shorts and more. 

The course topics include: 

• Learn the important parts of the sewing machine 
• How to thread a needle or use the needle threader
• How to wind a bobbin 
• How to sew with a zigzag stitch and straight stitch
• How to sew using seam allowance
• How to sew seams
• How to complete a sewing project 

Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine if applicable and fabric. A supply list will be sent upon confirmation of project. Book your class in advance to receive supply list.

 Price is set per month. Teacher can provide supplies for additional fee.
